The ability to have other opinions on the same subject was eye opening too. But there were times when group projects were difficult due to not having the support of the others involved in the group.
Sometimes when there was a question on s particular subject it can be hard to get the clarification that is needed. You're at home and you want to take online classes.

I have hands on experience in my job but would like a degree also. With University of Phoenix School of Nursing, you can take classes and still work full time, which is important to me. Though I am happy that there are such great online classes, I wish there was a way to have faster, more intense courses so that you could learn and graduate faster. Good Luck". Writing Matters! I was a registered nurse but I wanted to further my career because education is extremely important to me. I had a great experience going to school for my BSN. I feel it truly made me a better writer. I was required to write an essay every single week, and even though I dreaded writing one so often, it benefited me tremendously in the long run.
I have made straight A's in every single class, including the weighting portion. I feel the University of Phoenix made me a better, more educated nurse! In the two years I have attended I have not been challenged once! I have never gotten below an A even if I do not complete the work to college standards.
They have created their own APA format. They do not enforce citations and plagiarism is everywhere. Their course material is outdated and biased and they never fully teach you the subject. How can you learn an entire subject matter in 5 weeks and be considered anywhere near ready for the workplace?
I have never once even taken an exam! Don't waste your money on a bogus education! Go somewhere that is actually worth it! Wendy Stapley. This schedule worked well as I was a full time RN and going to school. I was able to finish in two years. I am enjoying my graduate degree at Western Governors University as it lets me move as quickly as I want through the program.
I love their student mentoring program. I am assigned a student mentor who will stay with me and help me until I graduate with courses and whatever other needs I have. I am excited for this adventure in graduate school. Amina Stone. Great customer service.
One thing I did not like was group projects and assignments. I found it annoying to complete group work in an online course. Being able to complete assignments at my own pace became difficult. As long you complete assignments and posts on time, then you should not have a problem graduating. My experience was great.
I attended both on campus and online. We were a fast paced program. I didn't apply for financial aid therefore i cannot comment on this portion. I found the instructors to be highly qualified and helpful.
Many were either MDs' or PhD. For working nurses i don't know of a more convenient method. Unless you live right next to a college. Military Veteran. They dropped us 3 times in the beginning then changed their policies regarding course enrollment so Veterans will not get their BAH on the first. It's a scam. Options available for learning include online and on-campus.
This is an option that many colleges of Nursing do not offer. This is available through the University of Phoenix at the Arizona and California campuses. The course is designed with the working nurse who has a family in mind. You can work on your education one class at a time, enhancing your knowledge and boosting your career opportunities in the process.
